Join us! - Floating Hospital for Children
Did you know, that nearly 300,000 children under the age of 17 are affected by juvenile arthritis. Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), affecting 50,000 children, is the most common form of juvenile arthritis and one of the most common childhood diseases in the United States.
This time, for the 2nd year in a row, under the initiative of Kyan Thorton, Drs. Jorge Lopez and Christina Pelajo are co-captaining the Floating Hospital for Children Team.
We welcome all new and returning team members and look forward to a wonderful walk and raising funds to help cure arthritis!
Thousands of people across the nation are joining together in the quest for a world free from arthritis pain. By joining a team and participating in your local 2009 Arthritis Walk, you will join in the movement to raise funds needed to find a cure for arthritis.
Team participation is FUN and EASY! A team is a group of people walking together to raise money to fight arthritis.
